Nursery

(ages 0-4) – Every Sunday 8:45am-12:30pm

Our nursery is run by staff and volunteers who are ready to care for your children during worship! Located in the Education Wing, the nursery is great for small children who need a space to play, receive an introduction to faith, and have their basic needs met while their families worship.

Kidz Worship

(pre-K thru 5th grade) – Every Sunday during the 11am Modern Service

School-aged children are invited to receive the same message that the grown-ups receive during the sermon in a space where they can wonder, play, and engage their bodies in a holistic learning environment. Children leave the worship space with staff and volunteers after the “Kidz Moment” with Pastor Erin and return for closing worship and are still able to participate in Holy Communion and other special worship opportunities.

Family way

(families with children ages 0-11) – Meets monthly as scheduled

This new ministry is great for families with younger children who want to connect, learn, play, and grow together! Once a month, Family Way meets to participate in activities both on-site and off-site. Previous activities include LEGO challenges, service projects, field trips, and more.

180 Youth

(grades 6-12) – Meets every other Sunday 12:30-2:30pm

A space for young people in middle school and high school to be their authentic self, ask big questions, and learn and have fun with their peers. 180 Youth is LGBTQ+ friendly and welcomes all, whether or not your student has ever been to church.

Training for volunteers

All staff and volunteers must take the Safe Gatherings abuse prevention training and agree to MUMC’s Child Protection Policy to work with children, youth, and vulnerable adults.

If you are a volunteer who needs to take the training, follow these instructions to begin the process. Contact Maddy Martinson to receive the remaining paperwork or for specific questions.
